3. What This Website Is
The Website provides informational and technical content relating to the h402 open protocol, including protocol specifications, architecture documentation, open-source code references, use case descriptions, and commentary on the agent economy and human-AI coordination.
The Website is not a marketplace, exchange, financial services platform, or trading venue. No transactions are executed through this Website. No escrow services are provided through this Website.
4. No Financial Advice
Nothing on this Website constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of advice on which you should rely for financial decisions. References to USDC, stablecoins, on-chain payments, or escrow mechanics are technical descriptions of protocol design — not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
You should obtain independent financial and legal advice before making any decisions based on content found on this Website. We are not a financial institution, investment adviser, or regulated financial service provider of any kind.
5. No Legal Advice
Nothing on this Website constitutes legal advice. Descriptions of regulatory frameworks, legal classification of tasks, jurisdictional considerations, or compliance requirements are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not reflect the laws of any specific jurisdiction applicable to your situation and should not be relied upon as legal counsel.
If you require legal advice, consult a qualified legal professional in your jurisdiction.
6. No Warranty
The Website and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations or warranties that:

We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the h402 Association, its board members, and its contributors shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Website or any content on it — including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic loss, loss of data, or loss of profits.
This includes any reliance on the protocol specification, open-source code, or technical documentation published on or linked from this Website. The h402 protocol is an open standard. Any implementation, deployment, or use of it is at your own risk.

8. Third-Party Links and Integrations
The Website links to external resources including GitHub, Coinbase's x402 specification, Worldcoin, the Ethereum Attestation Service, and other third-party projects. These links are provided for convenience and information only.

9. Intellectual Property
The h402 protocol specification and associated open-source software are published under the licenses stated in the relevant GitHub repository. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted by those licenses.
The h402 name, logotype, and website design are the property of the h402 Association. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except as strictly necessary to refer to the protocol in a technically accurate way.
10. Protocol Risk Disclosure
The h402 protocol involves smart contracts deployed on public blockchains. Smart contracts are code; they may contain bugs. Immutable contracts, by design, cannot be upgraded after deployment. On-chain transactions are irreversible.
We do not operate or control any deployment of the h402 smart contracts. We do not hold escrow funds. We are not a party to any task, payment, or dispute between agents and workers using any implementation of the protocol.
Use of any live deployment of the h402 protocol is entirely at your own risk.
11. No Employment or Agency Relationship
Nothing in these Terms, and nothing on this Website, creates any employment relationship, contractor relationship, partnership, or agency between you and the h402 Association.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Baden, Kanton Aargau, Switzerland, to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
